The Village Treks are designed for the tourist who is interested in viewing Nepali culture up close. Our Village Treks travel through rural areas using the same routes the locals use on a daily basis. You get to observe rural farmers going about their days work, their children trotting off to school in regions few tourists travel.

By design our routes are not all that physically challenging. These treks are about experiencing Nepali life, not about ascending to altitude. Our lodgings are basic as we stay with locals as much as we can. We eat in the local style although we supply our own filtered water. Our guides oversee the cooking to ensure quality.

This is not a trek for the budget traveller. Part of what we do is provide an income to rural poor who would otherwise not earn cash.

Treks operate out of Pokhara and last a minimum of 3 days. We do have longer treks but we ensure we are always within a days hike to a major roadway. We can design treks according to your schedule and the number of people involved. Please contact us for further information and once we know your wishes we can make a plan together to fit your schedule and budget.

Part of the fee is used to support village level developments with a strong focus on enabling young girls to attend and stay in school. We can supply detail information on this upon request.

Use the Contact Us page and we will guide you to a memorable Nepali experience.
